we had an amazin stay at ashfield house! the room was spacious n comfy, with a fab shower and loads of tea n coffee options. the breakfast was yummy with plenty of choices, we felt super welcomed by the staff. Oh and the garden outside was perfect to chill in. private parking is def a bonus in grassington!

The owner was exceptionally helpful, even went out of her way to get us dinner reservations at a local pub—really above and beyond effort. Plus, the breakfast was incredible, with options that would make any morning special—like pancakes with berries that made my taste buds explode!

I had a wonderful stay in the King Room with lovely touches such as complimentary Sherry and biscuits available in the lounge area. The breakfast was a highlight, offering an impressive variety of locally sourced items cooked to perfection. The peaceful garden setting made for a relaxing environment to unwind after exploring Grassington. One thing I’d recommend is expanding the choice of toiletries for a more upscale feel.

The room was super comfy and private. That honesty bar was a fun touch. Breakfast was def the highlight—pancakes and berries were to die for! Only thing is, parking can be a bit tricky if you miss the narrow turn.

The Double Room with Private Bathroom delivered charm with cozy decor that gave an authentic feel. A lovely garden offered a peaceful oasis just steps from bustling attractions.

Compromises of an old house abound. low doorways require constant attention or risk a bump. The plumbing pump made surprise noises whenever a neighboring tap was turned on, disrupting the quiet. I’m over 6 feet tall, and the bed felt too compact, likely not ideal for taller guests. an abandoned steroid cream left in the bedside cabinet suggested a lack of attention to detail in housekeeping. Parking access was narrow, making maneuvering a larger vehicle a bit tricky.
